For those of you looking for someone to take on your special collector car project we want to introduce you to Midwest Auto Body.  We are not affiliated with this shop but we do like his name.  One thing we always tell people to do is to find someone that enjoys working on collector cars, when you need repair work done.  We finally found that person and he is only ten miles from our office.

Complete Car Building

All work done to your satisfaction

See the below construction project this is about a complete car build.

Next project under construction

From start to finish all work can be done

I started tearing about my 1965 Chevrolet Panel Truck in November of 2000.  One thing led to another and the truck ended up sitting for almost 7 years with very little work done on it.  September 2007 I took it to Matt Whisler to have his shop work their magic.  I am going to be posting photos of the work in project so you can see the great work that Matt, Larry and Kenny do on vehicles at the shop.  You will be happy with their work and they are very reasonable as well.

The cab is the first part of the restoration.  I have new fenders we will be putting on but there will be a lot of panel replacement on the vehicle.

Let the replacement begin.  A good start on the passenger side of the rot.

I took on the task of restoring the frame.  After Sandblasting was done it was time for the KBS products to go to work.

Some body shops run 3 or more months behind Matt surprised me by having this done about four months prior to our goal date.

Thanks to Matt, Steve and even Jerry for helping me get this body back on the frame.

Need help in getting parts for your next restoration project.  These are links to who we were able to use for this project.

Bought parts from these guys in person and that went fine, bought over phone and by email

and ran into problems.  Will not order from them again as they have never responded to my

problems I had with them.  Spent over $2,000 with them and not much service or reply.

Bought a lot of sheet metal from them also other parts

Another great supplier of sheet metal

This is the product I used on the frame and under the body

This will probably be me by the time I get this project done.
